The first time you log into your mailbox, you'll be prompted to set up your mailbox by recording your name and personal greeting. The name recording is for the dial-by-name directory.
When someone enters the 1st 3 letters of your last name. It will play your name recording. The greeting plays when your mailbox is reached. It's very important to make a custom message as many callers will not leave messages in an inbox with the generic greeting.
To access your voicemail, press the messages button on your phone or dial *97 if you can't identify the voicemail button. When prompted, enter your voicemail PIN, then press the pound key. Follow the instructions for recording the voicemail. Greeting when you're finished, simply hang up.
